We're so excited you'd like to learn with us.
We are now booking from March to July 2026. September onwards dates will be added in June.
All public classes are at Megan’s in St Albans, Herts, AL1 3YD or at The Lucky Saint, London, W1
All private classes are self-hosted in your home or a private space in a venue.
Check out the class descriptions below by level and then scroll down to the very bottom of the page to book online - you may have to click a small arrow that says ‘More Times’ to show the dates from March to July but they are there!
All classes are £35pp and include a digital refresher of the class worth £15
~ CLASSES WE OFFER ~
*NEW FOR 2026 - Cane Rows, Stitch Braids and Adding Braiding Hair with Candy - all at Megan’s, St Albans*
Canerows are a both protective and stylish and great for curls and coils. You will learn how to prep hair, the tools required, how to part and then Canerow.
Level 1 - Basic Canerows (small 3D close-to-the-head braids) - WAITLIST

Stage 1a - Braid Basics - AKA Braids and Beers - This is for you if you have ZERO hair experience
We start with brushing, elastics and ponytails before learning bunches, buns, how to do a 3 strand plait, followed by a couple of cute looks for school and parties.

Stage 1b - 5 Easy Looks for 5 School Days
We no longer teach this in-person at public classes but we do have a digital version of the class which includes the 5 school looks and 2 party looks for the weekend for just £20 available at our online Braid Maidens Academy

Stage 2 - French Plaits and Dutch Braids - Come and learn this classic duo at our most popular class.
This is for you if you’ve been to Braid Basics or can confidently do a regular 3 strand plait and want to skill-up!

Stage 3a - 5 things to do with Dutch Braids - NEW
New for Summer 2026. Level up your Dutch Braid skills and learn the Crown, Waterfall, Alice Band Braid, Heart and Mini-Dutch Braid looks. Please note we do not teach how to do the Dutch Braid in this class so come to Stage 2 first if you don’t know how to do it.

Stage 3b - French Plait and Dutch Braid Yourself - NEW
New for Summer 2026. Level up your French and Dutch Braid skills and spend 2 hours applying single and double French and Dutch braids to your own hair. Please note we do not teach how to French or Dutch in this class so come to Stage 2 first if you don’t know how,

Self-Hosted Braids and Bubbles/Beers/ Brews at home - Braids and Beers nights in pubs - and PTA Fundraisers(Click the class name for more details)
These are our self-hosted private evening classes either in your home, school or a private room in a pub or venue.
You need a space at a table for every student (this is the table spec needed) and room for the teacher to get around.
Prices start from £35pp. Travel charges may apply.
We can teach Stages 1-3 as listed above or a combo of the Dutch Braid plus 2 fun looks. If you’d like something bespoke, let us know.
