Here at Braid Maidens we are passionate about teaching you how to braid and have taught over 2500 people in-person, including over 2100 women and 450 men since launching in October 2021.
We particularly love teaching the Dutch Braid as it’s SO versatile but we also cover everything from the regular 3 strand plait, Canerows, Stitch Braids, French Plaits, Fishtail Braids, Crowns Braids, Waterfalls, how to braid yourself and many more.
We believe that braiding is a mindful and creative life-skill that which we hope our students will pass on to future generations.
Plus it makes both the braider and braidee feel good! Win Win.

Public Braiding Classes
Whether you want to learn the absolute basics, French Plaits and Dutch Braids, Canerows and Stitch Braids or how to Dutch Braid yourself - we’ve got you!

Braids & Bubbles/Brews/Beer
Our self-hosted group lessons are such good fun. You supply the venue, friends and drinks and we bring ‘the girls’ and teach the braids of your choice.

PTA or Charity Fundraisers
Looking for a different kind of fundraiser? You supply the venue & sell the tickets and we’ll teach the braids. Plus you’ll get a portion of ticket sales.

Sports and Dance Braids
If you’re part of a sports or dance club (or your kids are), knowing how to braid could be very useful on match or competition days. Let us come and help you build a hair team!

Private Lessons
If you don’t fancy coming to a public group class, we can come to you for a private lesson. 1:1, 2:1 or even a small group lesson. We can also accommodate mixed ability couples.

Corporate Lessons
Our corporate lessons are a great and different way to explore skills and also as a fun bonding session. Clients include: England Rugby, Canada Life and Edrington.

Break Time Braids
Book Braid Maidens to deliver a fun and mindful extra curricular club or one off session at your school. Optimum age - year 6 and above.
